Extended Relief
Dear Valued Customer:
The year 2020 is a year not to be forgotten with the troubling effects of COVID-19 and the devastating fires that ravaged our local communities resulting in the loss of lives, homes, businesses, and livelihood. At People’s Bank, we believe there is nothing more important than the safety and well-being of the people in the communities we live and serve. The People’s Bank Foundation, with donations from the bank and its employees combined with donations from community members and businesses, provide financial support and relief to those most in need. In addition, the bank has extended the following actions through December 31st, 2020 to help lessen the challenges before us:
- No fees for Overdraft and Non-sufficient Funds on our customers checking accounts (business and consumer).
- No excess withdrawal fees on all Savings and Money Market accounts.
- No ATM surcharge fees for our customers (business and consumer). Note: When completing the ATM withdrawal, the ATM owner will likely inform you that a fee will be assessed. Accept the disclosed fee on the screen and we will reverse it back into your account on the day the ATM transaction is processed against your account.
- No early withdrawal fees for Certificate of Deposits (CDs).
