One Bank, One Name – People’s Bank

On March 1, 2021, Willamette Community Bank and People’s Bank of Commerce (People’s Bank), headquartered in Medford, Oregon, officially became one bank, expanding the possibilities of delivering outstanding community banking services to the communities we serve.

We knew that bringing Willamette Community Bank and People’s Bank together would be a strong combination. Now, almost a year later, we are ready to exhibit that strength under one name – People’s Bank. 

Starting February 18, 2022, we will begin the process of changing the Willamette Community Bank name to People’s Bank. From there, and over the next several months, you will see us making the name change with our signage, our phone greetings, and our internal forms. Your bank statements and notices will also show the new bank name.

Changing our name doesn’t mean a change in who we are. You will still be greeted and served by the same great staff you see today. Your accounts and access to your accounts, including your debit card, will stay the same, there’s nothing you need to do.

We are excited about this next evolution and are committed to providing our communities with the same high level of service our clients have come to expect from us.
